Social-Content Challenge for the Media

Interesting that the new media equation means people are so busy producing their own content, they hve no time to consume traditional content.

Snapchat is more than a fad. It's really an insight into where things are headed. Media like conversations are personal and ephemeral. Creating inventory on every single post is dangerous and forces traditional media into human nature and interaction.

Question is how do brands start to play in this transitory space. Initial programs we have worked on for TomorrowWorld festival with Snapchat suggest this is a big area of growth.

The tendency to listen to the holy music of the self is reflected not only in the selfie stick, but also in apps like Snapchat and Instagram, which pose a profound challenge for media companies.
